Fellow Bloggers, please tell me I am not the only one that does this:
You get so heated on a topic.
You have to get the words out of your head.
You know you are not the only one out there that feels this way so you are compelled to write a post. It is a lengthy one.
In the back of your mind you hope the person you’re writing about both finds it and also does not put the clues together. You are you angry, frustrated, annoyed. But you know better than to hit PUBLISH right away. Instead you SCHEDULE this post in the near future. You think you’re so smart. You can put your words and thoughts out into the universe and it’ll be far enough away; you’ll only make the slightest obvious reference to them…
Then a few days go by and you realize you were angry writing. You still feel the same way but just not as intense. You tell yourself to leave it. The post must be published for others. For someone else who may be feeling the same way. For someone who think they are alone in their feelings.
But then you start thinking about the person or situation you were righting about. You’re not that smart. They’ll connect the dots and then you’ll have to have a conversation you don’t really want to have. It’s definitely not worth all that mess.
And you delete the post.
That shit is just not worth it.
