If you enjoy movies on Lifetime, yes the television network, you’ll enjoy this one.
Child of Privilege is a story about a young woman who is perceived to have it all but really is victim of her wealthy father’s abuse. One day Dana has had enough and hauls ass out of town. What follows is a story you would… expect to see on a successfully made for Lifetime movie.
Dana leaves with only a few hundred dollars cash on her and several checks that (of course) gets stolen by some grimy fellow bus traveler. Dana has no clue where she is going but knows she needs to get out of the town she grew up in. She needs to escape a life that brought her nothing but pain but physically and emotionally.
Dana’s story is filled with private investigators impersonating police officers, black mailing, real private investigations, adultery, jail visits and a love story.
